UK Delivery

Orders worth under £150 will be shipped with Royal Mail Tracked 48, unless Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1pm) is selected at additional cost.

Orders above £150 will be shipped Royal Mail Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1pm).

Shipping times (UK)

Ready-to-Ship orders are delivered within 2-4 working days with free UK postage.

Made-to-Order pieces are delivered within 10-15 working days with free UK postage.

Please note delivery times for Europe and Worldwide are 3-5 days longer and cannot be sent to a PO Box address as a signature is required.

Any customs charges are the responsibility of the customer, not Silver & Smoke.

Returns & Refunds

We hope that you’re happy with your purchase but if your jewellery isn’t what you expected, please let us know within 14 days of receiving your purchase by emailing contact@silverandsmoke.co.uk. We can then process your return and supply a return address. Please do not send a return without emailing us first.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn  and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned. Custom orders and commissions are also non-refundable.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Postage

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any original shipping costs will be deducted from your original payment.

We recommend that you use Royal Mail recorded delivery (or tracked & signed) for delivery option as we are not responsible for any items lost in transit. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Any items that do not reach us are the responsibility of the customer.

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

We advise reusing the postal box if possible to ensure safe transit and to reduce waste. Any returned items that have been damaged in transit due to insufficient packing will be returned back to you or not refunded.
